Garden Party

In a semi-final matchup with Archbishop Williams, the Bulldogs controlled play for much of the game.

The first period featured several opportunities out in front of the net that couldn’t quite be buried so the score remained 0-0 after 1.

In the second, the Bulldogs had a flurry of chances but it was junior Maggie Malloy who scored the eventual game winner on a great wrist shot.

The Bishops did their best to equalize but the Bulldog defense and senior goaltender Colleen Kelleher stood tall to secure the 1-0 victory.

The championship game will be held this Sunday at the TD Garden with a matchup that pits the #2 seeded Bulldogs against the #1 seeded Wellesley Raiders.

MOOD:

It was a great turnout from the Dog Pound faithful which means there are some awards to give!

Impersonation of the Game: “Next up Lafferty, Daniel and Gilmore…Happy”

A truly gold impersonation from one of America’s most beloved movies (Happy Gilmore). (S/O to Chris Lavoie)

Argument of the game: “What constitutes being a train guy?

Everyone knows that you can’t go in to Boston on the train and get back without at least one “train guy” in the group. Also; If you have to say you’re a train guy…are you really a train guy? Just a little food for thought.

I’ll be the first to say it; I’m not a train guy.

So I’ll have to find at least one by Sunday; Roll Dogs.

NNNN

Side-note: Archbishop Williams’ mascot being the Bishops is too perfect. The Archbishop Bishops. The game was over before it started 💀😂💀😂💀😂
